Wilson Island is a small coral cay surrounded by the pristine reefs of the Great Barrier Reef and is accessed via Heron Island 40 minutes away by launch. Wilson Island caters for a maximum of 12 guests at any one time in designer inspired tented accommodation. Six permanent tents provide simple comfortable accommodation featuring natural materials and a modern beachcombing theme. The central complex known as the Longhouse is spacious and open and offers dining and lounge facilities where you can relax at the end of the day with a cool drink.

Wilson Island offers a range of nature based activities with exceptional snorkeling heading the list. Wilson Island is home to rare turtles and is the breeding ground for a number of bird species, a rear treat in season. There are also the more peaceful pursuits of reef walking or just relaxing and enjoying nature at is best.

Note: Children 12 years and under are not catered for on Wilson Island. The island is closed during the month of February for bird nesting.
